Patna : Kento Momota, 25, Japan, and Chou Tien Chen, 30, Taiwan, remain static as  World No 1 & 2 respectively in the Badminton World Federation (BWF) Rankings released on February 18, 2020, but Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, 23, Indonesia, and Anders Antonsen, 22, Denmark, have jumped 2 places each to be ranked World No 3 and World No 4 respectively. Momota has 1,11,918 points while Chen has 80,548 points. Ginting has 78,332 points and Antonsen has 78,012 points.

Viktor Axelsen, 26, Denmark, and reigning Olympic champion Chen Long, 31, China, have slipped 2 places each to be ranked World No 5 (77,168 points) and World No 6 (76,880 points) respectively. Jonatan Christie, 22, Indonesia, remains static at World No 7 with 74,590 points. Shi Yu Qi, 21, China, remains World No 8 with 66,541 points.

B Sai Praneeth, 27, India, has jumped 1 position to be ranked World No 10 with 58,567 points while Kidambi Srikanth, 27, India, has jumped 3 places to be ranked World No 12 with 54,799 points. Parupalli Kashyap, 33, India, remains World No 25 with 42,940 points. H S Prannoy, 27, India, is World No 27 with 41,135 points.

Lakshya Sen, 18, India, has jumped 3 laces to be ranked World No 28 with 40,227 points. Sorabh Verma, 27,  and his brother Sameer Verma, 25, both India, have slipped 1 place each to be ranked World No 29 (39,669 points) and World No 30 (38,319 points) respectively. Subhankar Dey, 26, India, has jumped 2 places to be ranked World No 45 with 33,095 points.

Ajay Jayaram, 32, India, has slipped 3 places and is ranked World No 68with 23,930 points. Siril Verma, 20, India, remains World No 102 with 17,910 points while Chirag Sen,21, elder brother of Lakshya Sen, has slipped 1 position and is ranked World No 105 with 17,210 points. Siddharth Pratap Singh, 21, India, has slipped 3 places and is ranked World No 121 with 15,050 points.
