Patna : World No 62 Kyle Edmund, 25, UK, and World No 98 Andreas Seppi, 35, Italy, entered the final of New York Open, an ATP Tour 250 indoor hard courts event at Uniondale, New York, USA, on February 15, 2020, night.

Edmund upset World No 54 Miomir Kecmanovic, 20, Serbia, 6-1, 6-4 in 71 minutes in semi-finals winning 3 break points. Edmund has reached first tour final in 16 months. Edmund, the 8th seed, fired 8 Aces in the match to 3 by the Serbian, the 6th seed. The Brit, in all,  won 64 points to 48 by the Serbian. He won 43 service points to 28 by Kecmanovic. The Brit also won 5 games in a row in the match.

Andreas Seppi beat World No 131 Jason Jung, 30, Taiwan, 6-3, 6-2 in 83 minutes in semi-finals. Seppi won 5 break points in the match to 1 by qualifier Jung. He won 3 games in a row to 2 by Jung. The Italian won 40 receiving points to 18 by Jung. Seppi, in all, won 72 points to 54 by Jung.  The Italian fired 3 Aces in the match to 5 by Jung.
