Sitamarhi: A fight between two teams over which one of them will play cricket match first at the Ghora Bazar field near Sitamarhi Gaushala on February 11, 2020, took a violent turn leading to a firing from a countrymade pistol in which a player  Laxman Kumar sustained bullet injury in the hand.

Laxman Kumar has been admitted to Sadar Hospital, Sitamarhi, in North Bihar. He is a resident of Ward–15 in Sitamarhi town.  Inspector, Town Police Station, P R Saxena, visited the place of occurrence and hospital. Shibu and Shivam, the two  suspects in the incident, are absconding.
