Patna : Ruling AAP has won 41 seats and is leading on another 21 Assembly Constituencies (ACs) in the Delhi Assembly polls at 6.27 pm on February 11, 2020, almost a repeat of 2015 Assembly polls, inflicting a demoralising defeat on the BJP, whose top leaders including PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, party president J P Nadda and several Union Minister had campaigned for the party nominees making Shaheen Bagh protest against CAA and NRC a major poll issue.

AAP, which  has secured 53.65 % votes, is heading towards a landslide victory. It had focussed on AAP Government’s achievements during the last five yaers.

BJP, which had won only 3 seats in 2015 Assembly polls, has won 5 seats and is leading in another three ACs securing 38.43 % votes.

The Congress Party has so far drawn a blank securing 4.29 % votes while the JD(U) has secured 0.88 % votes and LJP 0.36 % votes.
