Ginting wins Daihatsu Indonesia Masters title

Patna : World No 7 and 7th seed Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, 23, Indonesia, beat World No 3 Anders Antonsen, 22, Denmark, I n a three-game thriller in the final to win the men’s singles title at Daihatsu Indonesia Masters, an HSBC BWF World Tour Super 500 event, at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, Indonesia, on January 19, 2020. It was Ginting’s 4th career title.

Ginting beat 3rd seed Antonsen 17-21, 21-15, 21-9 in 71 minutes in the final battling back from one game down. Ginting won 59 rallies in the match to 45 by Antonsen. He won 4 consecutive points during the match to 5 by the Dane. Ginting now leads Antonsen 3-0 Head to Head.
