Spain beat Uruguay 3-0 in ATP Cup Group Match

Patna : Spain defeated Uruguay 3-0 in a Group B match in inaugural 24-team ATP Cup at Perth, Australia, on January 6, 2020. World No 1 Rafael Nadal beat World No 45 Pablo Cuevas , Uryguay, 6-2, 6-1 in 73 minutes in second match to give pain an unassailable lead. It was Spain’s second win in the tournament.

World No 10 Roberto Bautista Agut, Spain, won the first singles beating Franco Roncadelli, Uruguay, 6-1, 6-2. Pablo Careno Busta & Feliciano Lopez, Spain, beat Ariel Behar & Juan Martin Fumeaxu, Uruguay, 6-1, 3-6, 10-3 in the double.

Serbia defeated France in a Group A match at Brisbane, Australia, 2-1. World No 2 Novak Djokovic, Serbia, World No 9 Gael Monfils, France, 6-3, 6-2. It was Djokovic’s 16th win over Monfils. Serbia also won the double match.

Japan beat Georgia 2-1 in a Group B match at Perth.
