Ara : Bhojpur DM, Roushan Kushwaha, SP Sudhir Kumar Porika, along with police force conducted raid in Ara jail on January 5, 2020, morning, and seized knives, dagger, tobacco, ganja and other objectionable items. The raid follows the murder of an inmate Manish Kumar alias Telia inside Hajipur jail in Vaishali District in North Bihar recently
The District Administration team searched each and every ward and cell of the jail and also launched combing operation on the campus. The DM and SP serious note of recovery of objectionable items inside the jail premises.
