Man shoots himself dead after tiff with girlfriend at Patna

Patna : In a sensational incident, Rajiv Kumar, 24, an electrician and a resident of Bocachak under Phulwarisharif police station (PS) shot himself dead on Dadiji Lane under Sri Krishnapuri Police Station, Patna, on December 28, 2019, afternoon, after a tiff with his girlfriend, who works at a Call Centre located close to the place of  occurrence.

The deceased and the girl were in love for the last seven years, according to SHO, Sri Krishnapuri PS. Rajiv had reached the spot with his three friends, who escaped after the incident, the SHO said. He said that the girl is a resident of Nayatola under Phulwarisharif PS. The incident took place between 1 pm and 2 pm, he  said. Police are, however, yet to speak to the girl, who fled the spot after Rajiv shot himself dead, he added.
