Police arrest two miscreants with pistol, seize their bike

Ara : Bhojpur police arrested two miscreants along with firearms and a stolen motorcycle at Ara on December 25, 2019. The arrested miscreants were identified as Kariman Mahto of village Fuha under Barhara police station and Chunnu Kumar of Ujiyar Tola under Ara Town police station.

SDPO, Ara, Ambrish Rahul said that a vehicle checking was going on at Begumpur-Dharahara main road under Ara Town police station with a view to arresting bike lifters when two persons on motorcycle were seen coming from Sapana Cinema Road. When they reached near Begumpur Mor, they saw police and tried to escape but police chased and arrested them and seized the motorcycle and a loaded pistol from their possession. The SDPO said that they were going to commit some crime when police arrested them and foiled their bid.
