Patna : The RJD has given call for a Bihar bandh on December 21, 2019, in protest against the amended Citizenship Act. Leader of Opposition in Bihar legislative assembly Tejashwi Yadav has urged all political and non-political outfits to take part in the bandh which was initially scheduled for December 22, but was later preponed in view of police recruitment exams on that day.
“The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill is a black legislation that has blown the Constitution to smithereens. As a mark of protest, the RJD will organise a Bihar bandh on December 22. We appeal to all secular parties, non-political outfits and common citizens to wholeheartedly support the bandh and help us make it a success,” Tejashwi said.
