Buxar : Four women allegedly beat up a youth to death at Baradhi-Chhapara village under Bagengola police station in Buxar district around 10pm on November 16, 2019. Police arrested all the four women: Kusum Devi, Etwaro Devi, Soni Devi, and Pinki Devi of Chhapara Dera village and sent them to jail after interrogation.
The deceased was identified as Mukesh Kumar Yadav, son of Bhikhari Yadav of Dhenuadiha village under Nawanagar police station in Buxar district. A named FIR has been lodged with Bagengola police station against the four women in this connection. Police brought the body to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Love affair is said to be the cause behind the incident.
SHO, Bagengola police station, said that Mukesh Kumar Yadav lived at Ranchi in Jharkhand and was an autorickshaw driver there. Shiv Dular Yadav of Chhapara Dera in Buxar district along with his family members also lived at Ranchi. Mukesh Kumar Yadav’s aunt (bua) lived at Chhapara Dera which he frequently visited and had close relation with the family members of Shiv Dular Yadav. Mukesh Kumar Yadav visited Shiv Dular Yadav at Ranchi off and on.
Meanwhile, Mukesh Kumar Yadav and Shiv Dular Yadav’s family returned to their native village on Dipawali. On November 16, 2019, Mukesh Kumar Yadav went to Baradhi- Chhapara Devi around 10pm where four women: Kusun Devi, Etwaro Devi, Pinki Devi, and Soni Devi caught him and tried to quiz him but Mukesh Kumar Yadav did not utter a single word. Then the women thrashed him to death and threw his body on the village road.
On November 17 morning, some village women who were going to the field to attend call of nature, saw the body of the youth and raised an alarm. Hearing their cry, the chowkidar rushed to the spot and informed the SHO, Bagengola police station. Police immediately reached the spot and recovered the body. Meanwhile, one of the women identified the youth as Mukesh Kumar Yadad of Dhenuadiha village in Buxar district. During investigation, police arrested four women and when interrogated they confessed their involvement in the murder of Mukesh Kumar Yadav.
