Patna : Bangladesh were 191/6 in 54 overs at tea in their second innings in the first test at tea on Day 3 against India at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore, MP, on November 16, 2019, Mushfiqur Rahim unbeaten on 53 in 114 balls hitting 6 fours and spinner Mehidy Hasan batting on 38 in 54 balls with 5 fours and a six. Bangladesh lost two wickets in the second session of play but added 131 runs.
Mushfiqur Rahim and Mehidy Hasan have added 56 runs in 88 balls in their unbroken partnership for the 7th wicket. Mushfiqur also added 63 runs for the 6th wicket with Liton Das (wk). Mahmudullah fell to Mohammad Shami for 15 making it 72/5. Das fell to spinner Ravichandran Ashwin for 27 and it was 135/6.

Bangladesh, who had scored 150 runs in their first innings, still trail by 152 runs. India had declared their first innings at 493/6 in 114 overs.
