Patna : Tai Tzu Ying, 25, Chinese Taipei, returned to World No 1 position with 92,675 points jumping one place in the BWF World Rankings released on November 12, 2019, after reaching the SFs of Fuzhou China Open last week. Nozomo Okuhara, 24, Japan, the 2017 World Champion, has slipped one place to be ranked World No 2 with 91,586 points.
Chen Yu Fei, 21, China, with 90,965 points and Akane Yamaguchi, 22, Japan, with 88,650 points remain World No 3 & 4 respectively. Rathan, is World No 5 with ok Intanon, Thailand, with 80,285 points.
P V Sindhu, India, stays World No 6 with 78,314 points while Saina Nehwal, India, remains World No 9 with 59,887 points. A N Se Young, 17, South Korea, has jumped one place to be ranked World No 10 with 57,600 points. Carolina Marin, Spain, has slipped 2 places and is ranked World No 12 with 53,640 points.
