Patna :  World No 18 Alex de Minaur, 20, Australia, will face World No 95 Jannik Sinner, 18, Italy, a wild card, in the final of Next Gen ATP Finals at Milan, Italy, in the early hours on November 10, 2019.

Top seed Minaur beat World No 47 Frances Tiafoe, 21, USA, 4-2, 4-1, 0-4, 4-2 in in 73 minutes in the semi-finals on November 8, 2019, night. Minaur won 4 break points in the match to 2 by Tiafoe. The Australian fired 8 Aces in the match to 6 by the American. Both the players won 4 games each in a row in the match. Minaur was runner up to World No 6 Stefanos Tsitsipas, 21, Greece, in 2018 at Milan. The Australian is yet to drop a set in the tournament.

Sinner, the 8th seed, beat World No 60 Miomir Kecmanovic, 20, Sebia, 2-4, 4-1, 4-2, 4-2 in 75 minutes in semi-finals on November 9, 2019. Sinner won 3 break points to 1 by Kecmanovic. The Italian fired 5 Aces in the match to 2 by Kecmanovic. Sinner won 5 games in a row in the match to 3 by the Serbian.
