Patna : World No 12 B Sai Praneeth, 27, India, and World No 17 Sameer Verma, 24, India, crashed out of Danisa Denmark Open at Odense, Denmark, losing their respective second round matches on October 17, 2019.

Top seed and World No 1 Kento Momota, 24, Japan, swept past Praneeth in straight games 21-6, 21-14 in 33 minutes in second round at Odense Sportspark, Denmark, to enter the quarter-finals.
