Woman shot at and injured by brother at Buxar village

Buxar : A youth Pradyumn Pandey shot at and injured his sister at village Nandan under Dumraon police station in Buxar district on September 27, 2019. She was admitted to Buxar Sadar Hospital but the doctors referred her to Varanasi in view of her critical condition. A named FIR was lodged with Dumraon police station against Pradyumn Pandey in this connection and police are conducting raids to arrest him. He was angry with his sister as she married the boy of her choice.

SHO, Dumraon police station, quoting the FIR, said that Rahul Raj Sharma was in relationship with the girl for the last five years and tied knot with her three years ago and had a son with her. But the family members of the girl were very unhappy with this marriage. After the marriage, the couple went on honeymoon. After spending one year, they returned and started living at Nandin village under Dumraon police station. On September 27, the woman was going with her husband on motorcycle to  market when Pradyumn Pandey shot at and injured her. The SHO said that Pradyumn Pandey wanted to kill Rahul Raj Sharma but he missed the target and the bullet hit his sister.
