Ara : For bike borne miscreants fired at the house of the RJD MLA from Barhara in Bhojpur District Saroj Yadav located near a Petrol Pump at village Keshopur, around 10pm on September 10, 2019, and escaped. On getting information, a Barhara police team rushed to the spot and started investigation into the incident.
RJD MLA, Saroj Yadav said that four motorcycle borne armed miscreants came to his residence at Keshopur village located near the Petrol pump and fired at his brother-in-law Nirmal Yadav though he had a narrow escape. He identified one of the miscreants, a resident of Pawat village, and added that the miscreants had given a cheque which had bounced in the bank when deposited for cash withdrawal and a case in this regard was lodged with the police earlier. The miscreants were putting pressure on them to withdraw the case threatening with dire consequences.
The MLA said if the police delays investigation and did not arrest the miscreants at the earliest, he would launch an agitation from road to the assembly. SHO, Barhara police station, said that police were investigating into the matter and will arrest the miscreants very soon.
