Police seize 17 bags of foodgrains in Bagaha

Bagaha: Police on Sunday seized 17 bags of foodgrains meant for BPL consumers when it was being supplied for black marketing by a PDS dealer Jitendar Singh of Ranglalahi under Dhanaha police station in West Champaran district. Dhanaha police station SHO Ganesh Prasad said PDS Marketing officer of Madhubani block Ghulam Sahid has lodged a case against the dealer in the matter. A pick up van was also seized  in which the foodgrains was being carried. Driver of the vehicle Sitar Mullah was also arrested,the SHO said.
