Patna : Two bike borne unidentified criminals shot dead a former Ward Councillor of Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC) Nagehswar Rai, 50, in a broad daylight near a private hospital in Chitraguptnagar locality under Patrakarnagar police station, Patna, on September 1, 2019, and escaped unchallenged brandishing their firearm.
The criminals shot Nageshwar Rai in his head when he standing close to his house. Police are looking into the CCTV footage to identify the criminals. The incident has triggered panic in the area and the locals strongly protested the incident. Police are yet to ascertain the reason behind Nageswar Rai’s murder.
