New Delhi : Ajay Kumar Bhalla, IAS (AM:1984), has been appointed as Union Home Secretary replacing Rajiv Gauba, a 1982 batch IAS Officer of Jharkhand cadre, who was on August 21, 2019, appointed as Cabinet Secretary.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on August 22, 2019, approved the appointment of Ajay Kumar Bhalla, IAS (AM:1984), Officer on Special Duty, Ministry of Home Affairs, as Home Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, according to a PIB release.
