Police paste Proclamation Notice on house of 3 accused in Barap Mukhia murder case

Ara : Police have tightened noose around the accused involved in the murder of Mukhia, Barap panchayat under  Gadhani block in Bhojpur district. Police pasted Ishtehar (Proclamation Notice) on the walls of the house of three named accused : Chunnu Singh, who had contested election of Mukhia, his brother Kamlesh Singh, and his father Mrityunjay Singh on August 22, 2019. Police had arrested the fourth named accused in the case J P Singh immediately after the murder.

SHO, Gadhani police station, Sajid Hussain, said that some armed miscreants had shot dead Arun Singh, Mukhia, Barap Panchayat, a resident of village Sahangi under Gadhani police station, at his native village on August 5, 2019,  night, when he was talking to a fellow villager. Arun Singh was son of Hardwar Singh.

A named FIR was lodged with Gadhani police station against Chunnu Singh, his brother Kamlesh Singh, father Mrityunjay Singh and one J P Singh on the statement of Sunil Kumar, brother of the deceased. He said that  police had arrested J P Singh the same day but the rest three were absconding. He said that the police would attach properties of the trio if they remain at large.
