Patna : World No 1 and top seed Novak Djokovic, Serbia, World No 8 Daniil Medvedev, Russia, and World No 19 David Goffin, Belgium, reached semi-finals of Cincinnati Masters at Ohio, USA, on August 17, 2019, early morning, while World No 56 Richard Gasquet, France, entered semi-finals on August 16, 2019, late night.

Djokovic beat World No 31 Lucas Pouille, 25, France, 7-6, 6-1 in 1 hr 26 minutes in quarter-finals to enter the semi-finals. The Serbian won 2 break points in the match to none by Pouille.
