Patna : The India men’s pair of Satviksairaj Rankireddy & Chirag Shetty won the men’s doubles title at Toyota Thailand Open at Bangkok on August 4, 2019, becoming the first Indian pair to win a doubles title at a World Tour Super Series tournament.
Reddy & Shetty beat the Chinese pair of Li Jun Hui & Liu Yu Chen in a three-game thriller 21-19, 14-21, 21-18 in 62 minutes in the final at Indoor Stadium Huamark, Bangkok, Thailand. Reddy & Shetty won 60 rallies in the match to 58 by Hui & Chen.
