Patna : Bihar Government on July 30, 2019, promoted Avnish Kumar Singh, a 2010 batch Bihar Cadre IAS officer and Joint Secretary, General Administration Department, to the Junior Administrative Grade in the Additional Secretary rank and payscale with effect from January 1, 2019. The General Administration Department issued a notification to this effect on July 30 itself. Eight IAS officers of 2010 batch had already been promoted to Junior Administrative Grade.
