Patna : Bihar Governor cum Chancellor of State Universities Lalji Tandon on July 23, 2019, appointed Prof Vibhash Chandra Jha as the new Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University (TMBU), Bhagalpur, a period of three years. The Governor’s Secretariat issued a notification to this effect on July 23 itself.
Pro Jha is a Professor of Geography with specialisation in Geomorphology in Visva Bharti, a Central University, Shantiniketan. The Governor appointed Prof Jha as the VC of TMBU after holding effective consultation with the state government on the panel submitted by the Search Committee.
