Police seize 20 cartons of IMFL from car in Buxar, car seized

Buxar  : Buxar police seized 20 cartons of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from a luxury car near a private school on Kopawa-Amsari main road under Koransarai police station in Buxar district in the wee hour on July 22, 2019, though the liquor smugglers escaped from the spot taking advantage of the darkness. An FIR has been lodged by police in this connection.

SHO, Koransarai police station, Kamaljeet Singh said that he got information that IMFL was being brought over by a luxury car. He immediately started vehicle checking drive. When the police were moving towards a luxury car, its driver and liquor smugglers escaped parking the car near a private school. Police seized the car. When the car searched, 20 cartons of IMFL were seized.
