Tai Tzu beats Intanon to enter SFs of BWF Indonesia Open

Patna : Top seed and World No 1 Tai Tzu Ying, 25, Chinese Taipei, defeated World No 7 Ratchanok Intanon, 24, Thailand, in three games to enter the semi-finals of Blibli Indonesia Open, an HSBC BWF World Tour Super 1,000 tournament, at Jakarta, Indonesia, on July 19, 2019.

Tai Tzi beat Intanon, the 7th seed and 2013 World Champion,  21-18, 16-21, 21-12 in 64 minutes the QFs at Istora Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta, Indonesia. Tai Tzu won 58 rallies in the match to 51 by Intanon. She also won 6 consecutive points to 4 by Intanon. This 25th meeting between the two players and Intanon still leads Tai Tzu 13-12 Head to Head.
