Ara : Additional District and Sessions Judge III, Ara, Tribhuan Yadav on July 11, 2019, sentenced to rigorous life imprisonment three persons in a murder case and seven year rigorous imprisonment to three for attempt to murder cases.
ADJ III awarded rigorous life imprisonment to Munna Yadav, Kamala Yadav, and Dharmendra Sah under section 302/34 IPC and seven years rigorous imprisonment to Kedar Yadav, Surendra Yadav, and Jai Shankar Yadav each for attempt to murder under section 307/34 IPC.
Some miscreants had shot dead Lal Jee Yadav and shot at and injured his son Mantu Yadav of Marchaiya Dera village under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district on October 31, 2016, when they had gone to Madhavpur market for shopping for Govardhan Puja. A named FIR was lodged with Shahpur police station against seven persons on the statement of Anil Yadav, nephew of the deceased.
After hearing both the parties, the ADJ III found Munna Yadav, Kamala Yadav, and Dharmendra Sah guilty of murder of Lal Jee Yadav. The court also found Kedar Yadav, Surendra Yadav and Jaishankar Yadav guilty of attempt to murder.
