Bank employee commits suicide at Bhabhua

Bhabhua : Ravi Kumar, an SBI employee at its Bhikhnapur Branch in Kaimur district, committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling fan of his room at his rented house at Brahmchari Pokhare Ward No 18 under Bhabhua police station on July 9, 2019, night after he allegedly had some tiff with his girlfriend.

Police recovered the body and brought it over to Bhabhua Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. SHO, Bhabhua police station, said that Ravi Kumar of Bhikhana Pahadi locality in Patna lived at a rented house of Kaluti Thakur near Brahmchari Pokhre Ward No 18 in Bhahua in Kaimur district along with his professional colleague Dheeraj Kumar. The SHO said that Ravi Kumar had some tiff with his girlfriend and later committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling fan of his room.

Around 3 pm, his girlfriend called Dheeraj Kumar and said that she had some tiff with Ravi Kumar after which he had  threatened to commit suicide, ghe SHO said. She requested Dheeraj Kumar to go back to their room and persuade Ravi Kumar not to commit suicide, the SHO said adding when Dheeraj Kumar reached there Ravi Kumar had already committed suicide.
