Over 3 dozen persons fall ill due to food poisoning at Bhojpur village

Ara : Over three dozen persons including 20 children and women fell ill due to food poisoning at village Padminia under Krishnagarha police station in Bhojpur district on May 22, 2019, morning, and were admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital. The condition of some of them is stated to be serious.

Family members of the persons falling ill said at Ara Sadar Hospital that a vendor came to their village Padminia selling ‘Golgappa’ and Chinese dishes. Over three dozen persons mostly children and women of the village ate Golgappa  and Chinese dishes. After eating, all of them felt giddiness and started vomiting. Their family members and villagers rushed them to Ara Sadar Hospital.

Apprehending trouble, the vendor slipped away from the scene. Name of some of the persons falling ill are : Prince Kumar, 4, and Golu Kumar, 6,  sons of Bir Bahadur Yadav, Poonam Kumari, 14, daughter of Hare Ram Yadav, Sangeeta Kumari, 15 daughter of Ram Ayodhya Yadav, Indu Devi, 22, wife of Bijesh Yadav, Radha Kishun Yadav, 50, son of Ram Sagar Yadav, Manish, 2,  and Prince 2,  sons of Munna Yadav, Nisha Kumari, 5, daughter of Munna Yadav, Kiran Kumari, 8, daughter of Radha Kishun Yadav, Mithlesh Kumar, 12, son of Radha Kishun Yadav, Neha Kumari, 12, daughter of Jungali Yadav, Sonu, 8, and Mukesh, 7, sons of Jungali Yadav, Manish Kumar, 2, son of Jai Bahadur Yadav, Pooja Devi, 22, wife of Gajendra Yadav, Soni, 15, daughter of Radha Kishun Yadav, Reena Devi, 22, wife of Krishna Kumar, Sunil Kumar, 15, son of Surendra Yadav, and Kiran, 10, daughter of Hari Kishun Yadav.

Dr M H Ansari, Ara Sadar Hospital, said that all fell ill due to food poisoning and condition of some of them is serious.
