Patna : Majority of the exit polls forecast a majority or near majority for the ruling BJP-led NDA in the seven phase General Elections 2019 which ended on May 19, 2019. But, all of them have given different projection as far as BJP’s performance in Uttar Pradesh goes ranging from 22 to 62 seats. The majority mark is 272. The Exit Polls suggest BJP led NDA has made significant inroads both in West Bengal and Odisha.
TheĀ ABP-Nielsen exit poll has predicted no clear majority for any alliance with NDA getting 267 seats, UPA 127 seats, and others 148.
Two exit polls telecast by Times Now gave the NDA 296 and 306 seats, while they projected 126 and 132 for the Congress-led UPA. The CVoter-Republic exit poll has forecast 287 and 128 seats for the NDA and UPA respectively. An exit poll on News 18 forecast that the NDA will win 292-312 seats. It gave 62-72 seats to the UPA. The India Today Axis My India Exit Poll suggests that the NDA will win 339-365 seats while Congress led alliance will get 77-108 seats. It gives SP-BSP alliance 10-16 seats.
According to exit polls, NDA is likely to get 34 to 38 seats in Bihar. The NDA had won 31 out of 40 seats in Bihar in 2014 LS polls.
