MI beat SRH in Super Over to qualify for the IPL-12 play off

Patna : Mumbai Indians (MI) qualified for the IPL-12 play off on May 2, 2019, late night, by defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Super Over which followed as both the teams were tied at 162 runs after 20 overs. SRH scored 8 runs in 4 balls in the Super Over for the loss of 2 wickets. MI scored 9 runs in 3 balls with Hardik Pandya hitting a six on the first ball bowled by spinner Rashid Khan. MI thus became the 3rd team after CSK and DC to qualify for the play off. MI have 16 points from 13 matches while SRH have 12 points from 13 matches.
