Patna : Mumbai Indians (MI) scored 162/5 runs in 20 overs against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 51st match of IPL-12 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, Maharashtra, on May 2, 2019, night, with openers Quinton de Kock scoring an unbeaten 69 runs in 58 balls with 6 fours and 2 sixes, his 4th fifty in IPL-12. MI captain Rohit Sharma fell to fast bowler K Khaleel Ahmed for 24 in 18 balls hitting 5 fours. Suryakumar Yadav also fell to Khaleel Ahmed for 23 in 17 balls with 3 fours and a six.

Electing to bat after winning the toss, MI openers Quinton de Kock and Rohit Sharma added 36 runs for 1st wicket in 32 balls. Quinton de Kokck then added 54 runs with Suryakumar Yadav for the 2nd wicket. Evin Lewis fell to spinner Mohd Nabi for 1 while Hardik Pandya fell to Bhuvaneshwar Kumar for 18 in 10 balls with a four and a six making it 119/4. Kieron Pollard fell to Khaleel Ahmed for 10 in 9 balls with a six making it 151/5. Krunnal Pandya remained unbeaten on 9 in 3 balls with a six.

For SRH, Khaleel Ahmed took 3/42 in 4 overs while Bhuvaneshwar Kumar took 1/29 in 4 overs. Mohd Nabi took 1/24 in 4 overs.
