Bagaha : A wild Bear strayed out of Valmiki Tiger Reserve (VTR) in Bagaha Police District  on April 19, 2019, and attacked and injured three persons of village Sikatia  under Bagaha town police station seriously
The injured persons identified as Bhima  Yadav, 40, Gopal  Sah, and Nitish Kumar, 14,  were working in their sugarcane  field when the Bear attacked them.  Hearing their cry for help, the locals rushed there and  rescued them. Seeing them, the Bear fled away. Later on, their family members  brought  them over to Government Hospital,  Bagaha, for treatment.
The villagers also informed  VTR officials requesting them to drive  out the wild bear from the sugarcane  field. The VTR rescue  team has reached there and trying to trap the bear.
