KKR score 185/8 againstv DC in 10th match of IPL-12, Russel scores 62 in 28 balls

Patna : Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) scored 185/8 in 20 overs against Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 10th match of IPL-12 at Feroz hah Kotla, Delhi, on March 30, 2019, night, with Caribbean Andre Russel scoring 62 in 28 balls hitting 4 fours and 6 sixes in a hurricane knock and captain Dinesh Karthik scoring 50 in 36 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes. DC had won the toss but opted to bowl.

Robin Uthappa and Nitish Rana scored 11 and 1 run respectively while openers Nikhil Naik and Chris Lynn scored 7 and 20 runs respectively. Subham Gill was run out for 4. Piyush Chawla was also run out for 12 on the last ball of the 20th over. Kuldeep Yadav remained unbeaten on 10 in 5 balls.

KKR were 61/5 after 9.1 overs. But, Andre Russel and Dinesh Karthik steadied the innings and added 95 runs for the 6th wicket. Russel fell to Chris Morris making it 156/6. Karthik fell to spinner Amit Mishra on the 4th ball of the 19 over making it 170/7  Russel completed his fifty in 23 balls.
