Bagaha : Bagaha town residents on March 7, 2019, caught a fleeing criminal and recovered Rs 30,000 looted cash from his possession. Four criminals riding two motorbike had looted the cash from one Sheonath Gaddi of village Shohagibarawa under Bagaha town police station in Bagaha police district.

Sheonath had drawn the money from Bagaha Branch of Punjab National Bank on March 7 and was returning home. But, within few minutes, bike borne criminals looted the cash from him. Bagaha residents, however, caught one of the  fleeing criminals with cash and handed him over to police.

SHO, Town police station, Jitendrr Kumar Singh, said that the criminal arrested with bike and cash had been identified as Rajesh Kushwaha of Ranipokhara under Bettiah Sub-Division. He had disclosed the identity of his accomplices active at  Bagaha, Bettiah and other locations before police during interrogation. The SHO claimed  that they would be arrested very soon.
