I am fighting terrorists & corrupt people, opposition trying to finish me : PM Modi

Patna : PM Narendra Modi on March 3, 2019, sounded poll bugle in Bihar at NDA’s ‘Sankalp Rally’ at Patna Gandhi Maidan saying the Congress led opposition was trying to finish him when he was fighting to finish terrorism and corruption and developing infrastructure for the welfare of the people.

Addressing an impressive gathering which had reached Gandhi Maidan despite an inclement weather, Modi said that the opposition was trying to demoralise the army by asking for proof of the destruction of the terrorist camps at Balakot in Pakistan. ” I am fighting to finish terrorists and corrupt people, they are trying to finish me. I am working hard for the welfare of the people, they are uniting for their personal welfare. They country was pushed backward during UPA’s 1o years’ rule,” PM thundered. He also referred to the multi-crore fodder scam in Lalu Prasad regime in Bihar. He also charged the opposition with promoting dynastic politics.

Lashing out at the opposition leaders, PM Modi said that after the Balakot air strike they are issuing statements which are making country’s enemies happy. These leaders are being shown on the Pakistan TV, Modi said referring to himself as the ‘Chowkidar’. ” The Chowkidar is alert as ever. The days of middlemen is over,” he asserted.

Modi was all praise for Bihar CM and JD(U) national president Nitish Kumar for checking corruption and providing electricity to every household in the state. Nitishji is providing pipe water to the people, who would soon also get LPG through pipe, Modi said. “Patna would soon become a Smart City. Work on Metro Rail has already started.,” the PM said sharing political platform with Nitish Kumar after a long gap. It was NDA’s first joint rally after almost 14 years. Several senior NDA leaders from Bihar were present on the occasion.

Modi announced that the Saudi Arabia has raised the Haj quota of the country to two lakh on his request. “Saudi Arabia crown has also told me that 850 Indians lodged in jail there would be released”, Modi said.
