Patna : SIT of Patna Police and Government Railway Police (GRP), in a joint operation, recovered the seventh girl of Mokama Shelter Home  in Patna District, who had escaped from six other girls recently, from Jainagar in Madhubani District on February 26, 2019. Patna SSP Garima Mallik confirmed recovery of the girl. Earlier, six girls were recovered from village Shakatpur under Benipur Sub-Division in Darbhanga District on February 23, 2019.

It may be mentioned here that seven girls from Mokama Shelter Home located on the premises of Nazareth Hospital, Mokama, had fled away from there after cutting grill of the house at 3.30 am on February 23, 2019. Patna DM Kumar Ravi and SSP Garima Mallik had gone there soon after getting information.
Out of seven girls, five are from Muzaffarpur Shelter House and two from Mokama Nazareth. Four of these girls are witnesses in the CBI probe into Muzaffarpur Shelter Home sex scandal.
