DIG, CR, Rajesh Kumar, felicitated for cracking advocate murder case within 3 days

Patna : Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey, on February 26, 2019, felicitated DIG, Central Range (CR), Rajesh Kumar, at Bihar Police Annual function 2018-19 for cracking advocate Jitendra Kumar murder case within three days, getting all the 8 criminals involved in the murder arrested with their illegal firearms and ammunition, seizing the bike used by them besides the cash ( Supari) given to them.

This is the highest award of the state police.The DGP presented DIG Kumar with a citation letter for excellent monitoring of Jitendra Kumar murder case. Advocate Jitendra Kumar was shot dead by the contract killers under Shastrinagar PoliceStation, Patna, in 2018. DIG Kumar is a 2003 batch Bihar cadre IPS officer. He was appointed DIG, Central Range, on April 29, 2017.
