Saharsa SP suspends SHOs of two police stations

Saharsa : Saharsa SP Rakesh Kumar has suspended SHO, Sadar Police Station, R K Singh, for allegedly participating at a marriage ceremony at village Veeratpur under Sonbersa Raj police station where a dancer Akriti alias Madhu, a resident of Saharsa, died in celebratory firing recently. The video of the marriage ceremony had gone viral on social media. SHO, Simri Bakhtiarpur police station, Raj Mani, has been transferred and appointed SHO, Sadar Police Station, Saharsa.

Inspector Anil Kumar, who was waiting for posting, has been appointed SHO, Nauhatta Police Station. Circle Inspector, Simri Bakhtiarpur, Anil Kumar Singh, has been appointed SHO, Simri Bakhtiarpur Police Station. He will hold additional charge of Circle Inspector, Simri Bakhtiarpur. SI, Sadar Police Station, Saharsa, Shivshankar Kumar, has been appointed SHO, Sonbersa Raj Police Station. SHO, Sonbersa Raj Police Station, Suman Kumar, was suspended in the wake of Veeratpur incident.
