Patna/Bagaha : The matriculation ( Class X) examinations of Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) got underway at 1,418 exam centres across the state on February 21, 2019. More than 76,000 students are appearing at the examination at 74 centres at Patna. Over 16.6 lakh students are appearing at the examination this year in the state.

Two girl examinees: Ladali Begum and Deepa Pal, appearing at the exam from Pt Umashankar Tiwari Mahila College, Bagaha-1, centre suddenly fell unconscious on February 21 in the first sitting about 30 minutes after the examination began. Dr A K Tiwari of Sub-Divisional Hospital, Bagaha, gave them medical aid. Altogather 11,514 examinees are appearing at the exam from 7 centres at Bagaha and 194 examinees were found absent, said officiating SDM, Bagaha, cum  DCLR Mohd Imran.
