Buxar : Three motorcycle borne armed miscreants shot at and critically injured an LIC agent Akhilesh Singh on February 21, 2019, at Narayanpur bridge under Itadhi police station in Buxar district. Later, police admitted him to Sadar Hospital, Buxar, but he succumbed to his injuries during treatment there.
The reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. An FIR has been lodged with Ithadhi police station but no arrest has so far been made in this connection. Police are conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.
