FIR lodged against Ara pvt. school teacher for thrashing, injuring student

Ara : A teacher of a private school at Ara thrashed and injured a Class IX student of the school on February 21, 2019, on the suspicion of cheating at the exam. The name of the injured student is Moqarram Isha, 13, son of Md Isha of Khetari locality under Ara Town police station. The injured student was admitted to Sadar Hospital, Ara. A named FIR has been by Ara Town police station against the school teacher Sudhir Kumar Pandey on the statement of Md Isha, father of the student.

SHO, Ara Town police station, said that Md Moqarram Isha is a student of Class IX at Jean Paul Senior Secondary School and was taking examination on February 21. Sudhir Kumar Pandey, who was invigilating the examination, came to him and charged him with cheating. When he refused, the teacher started slapping him on his chicks and later kept dashing his head against the wall at the classroom till he started bleeding. The teacher said that no one would dare cheat at the examination if he thrashes a student.
