15,000 students from 123 schools perform Surya Namaskar at Ara

Ara : Under the banner of Krida Bharati, Bhojpur, Surya Namaskar cum Pratibha Samman’ programme was organised at Ramana Maidan, Ara,  on February 17, 2019. National General Secretary, Krida Bharati, Raj Chaudhary, National Secretary, Krida Bharati, Sanjay Tiwari, State President, Krida Bharati, Rajeshwar Raj and Bhojpur district president, Krida Bharati, Amrendra Choubey inaugurated the function jointly by lighting the ceremonial candle. They also observed two minute silence and paid homage to the 43 CRPF personnel who were recently killed in terror attack in Pulmawa district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing the gathering, Raj Chaudhary, National General Secretary, Krida Bharati, said that character is built through sports that contributes in nation building which is the main aim of the Krida Bharati. He said that a healthy society makes a healthy nation. He said that Surya Namaskar is a complete exercise for the whole body and exhorted people to do Surya Namaskar daily.

Earlier, at least 15,000 students from 123 schools of Bhojpur district practised Surya Namaskar at Ramana Maidan and vowed to practice it daily. The Krida Bharati honoured and gave mementos and shawls to 25 families of the martyrs, mothers of people who excelled in the field of education, journalism and sports.

Chairperson, State Commission for Woman, Dilmani Devi, State general secretary, BJP, Rajendra Singh, former BJP MLA from Sandesh, Sanjay Singh Tiger, JD(U) district president, Ashok Kumar Sharma and others were present on the occasion.
