New Delhi : Setting up Integrated Check Posts (ICPs) at Sunauli and Rupaidiha in Uttar Pradesh (Nepal Border) and Sutarkandi in Assam (Bangladesh Border) has been approved.

Further, “in principle” approval has been granted for the setting up Integrated Check Posts (ICPs) at 10 other location viz; (i) Ghojadanga, West Bengal (Bangladesh border) (ii) Changrabandha, West Bengal (Bangladesh border) (iii) Fulbari, West Bengal (Bangladesh border) (iv) Jaigaon, West Bengal (Bhutan border) (v) Panitanki, West Bengal (Nepal border) (vi) Mahadipur, West Bengal (Bangladesh border) (vii) Hili, West Bengal (Bangladesh border) (viii) Banbasa, Uttarakhand (Nepal border) (ix) Bhitamore, Bihar (Nepal border) (x) Kawrpuichhuah, Mizoram (Bangladesh border).

This was stated by the Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju in written reply to question in the Rajya Sabha on February 6, 2019, according to a PIB release.
