Bhojpuri Vikas Nyas organises kavi sammelan at Ara

Ara : Under the banner of Bhojpuri Vikas Nyas (BVN), Bhojpur, a kavi sammelan was organised on February 4, 2019, on the campus of Geeta Mahila Utthan Samiti, Ara. Pandit Jagannath Mishra, Mahishwari Ojha from Buxar, Ravi Kumar Pathak Ravi, Raja Ram Priyadarshi, Vishal Ji, Keshav Thakur, Dr Renu Mishra, Dr Mamata Mishra, Dr Kiran Kumari, Mani Kumar Pandey, Thakur Ji and other enthralled the gathering with their poems and satirical observations on the present political and social conditions.

President, Bhojpuri Vikas Nyas, Hare Krishna Upadhayaya, presided over and Jarandan Mishra, national Vice-President, BVN, conducted the sammelan. Madhu Mishra, General Secretary, BVN, extended vote of thanks. The distinguished guests were honoured with mementos and shawls. Janardan Mishra said that a kavi sammelan will be organized on March 17, 2019, to honour the laureates and poets of Bhojpuri language.
