Ara : A named FIR has been lodged Nawada police station, Ara, against seven persons : Deepak Mishra, bridegroom, his father Deenbandhu Mishra, uncle Ajit Mishra, and bride’s father Mohan Ojha and his wife, uncle and brother of the bride, in connection of murder of a person in the firing during the marriage ceremony on January 31, 2019, night. The FIR has been lodged on the statement of deceased’s brother Shiv Bihari Mahto.
SHO, Nawada police station, Subodh Kumar, said that marriage of a BMP Constable posted at Munger, Deepak Mishra, son of Deenbandhu Mishra of Pachaina Bazaar Mishra Tola village under Koelwar police station in Bhojpur district, was being solemnized with the daughter of Mohan Mishra at Chandawa Housing Colony under Nawada police station on January 31, 2019, night, when some persons from both the parties clashed for occupying a chair and a person from bridegroom side fired in which Soni Bihari Mahto, 38, son of Rajdeo Mahto of Pachaina Bazaar Mishra Tola village received bullet injury and succumbed to it on the spot.
