Ara : Some unidentified armed miscreants shot at and injured Mukhia, Kasap panchayat, Pankaj Singh, 30, son of Ram Kumar Singh of Kasap village under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district, on February 1, 2019, late evening. Pankaj Singh was returning to his native village from Ara when he was shot at. Later, he was admitted to Sadar Hospital, Ara.
Bhojpur SP Aditya Kumar said that an FIR has been lodged with Udwantnagar police station in this connection and police were conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. The reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained.
