Pvt school teacher thrashes 8 yr old student at Ara, FIR lodged

Ara : A teacher of a private school, Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Ara, thrashed and injured an 8 year old student of the school on February 2, 2019. A named FIR has been lodged with Nawada police station, Ara, on the statement of the father of the student against the teacher. Police are, however, yet to take any action against the teacher.

SHO, Nawada police station, said that Ankit Kumar, 8, son of Abhay Kumar Tiwari of Anand Nagar locality under Ara Town police station, is a student of class III at Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Keshawpuram Maharaja Hata locality under the police station. On February 2, Ankit Kumar’s friend, who is son of Anand Kumar, school teacher, allegedly abused him in the class on a trivial, the SHO said and added that Ankit Kumar also retaliated in the same manner. On the complaint of his son, the teacher lost temper and thrashed and injured Ankit Kumar, the SHO said. Headmaster, Saraswati Shishu Mandir, has assured to take action against the teacher.

Ankit Kumar said that the Anand Kumar’s son always bullied him and on February 1 he used vulgar remarks against him and so he beat him. On complaint, his teacher thrashed and injured him, Ankit said.
