Ara : Jagesh Kumar, 18, son of Devi Dayal Sao, was killed when his motorcycle dashed an electric pole near village Jalpura under Chandi police station in Bhojpur district, on February 1, 2019. Police brought the body over to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for post-mortem.
SHO, Chandi police station, said that some miscreants had attacked and injured Devi Dayal Sao of village Jahanpur under Chandi police station by stabbing him on Ara-Chandi main road when he was returning to his native village from Danapur on his motorcycle and escaped after looting about Rs 2 lakh from him. Hearing the news, his family members and son Jagesh Kumar rushed to the spot. Seeing his father lying injured in a pool of blood, Jagesh immediately rushed to call a doctor but his motorcycle dashed an electric pole and he was killed on the spot.
